Arbour

Arbour

The Arbour Project is a private residence nestled in the greenest pocket of Alphington, one of Melbourne's most leafy and sought-after enclaves. Set within a thoughtfully considered architectural framework, Alison approached this project with a singular focus, to create a home that feels as grounded as it does elevated.

Refined materials and soft natural tones form the foundation of every space. Layered stone, warm timber joinery and sculptural lighting work in quiet harmony to create an interior that breathes with the same ease as its surroundings. A calm, cohesive kitchen and dining space anchors the heart of the home, while clean lines and an understated street presence speak to a confidence that never needs to announce itself.

"Arbour was always about blending the interiors with nature, every material choice, every detail, was considered with that relationship in mind."

Earthy neutrals, organic texture and a considered restraint run throughout, with glimpses of greenery drawing the outside in. The result is a retreat that holds both stillness and warmth — a home designed for everyday wellbeing, and built to last a lifetime.
