greenhouse interiors

Alison had the “OMG this is awesome” opportunity to attend one of Julia Green’s, founder of Greenhouse Interiors, interior styling weekend’s held at her home in coastal Barwon Heads, Victoria. As Julia describes the weekend, “I invite a small number of people to spend the weekend with me, and we talk about the business of styling with a phenomenal amount of success. Not only does the team create beautiful imagery and a portfolio, but they importantly walk away with confidence, action plans, and the ‘how to’s’ they need to know to establish a career as a stylist.” Alison was thrilled to be a part of this once in a lifetime opportunity.

the martin house

In the heart of South Melbourne, the Martin House underwent a significant transformation to bring it in line with the surrounding trendy eateries and its proximity to the CBD. Alison had complete creative license to re-work the design of the existing house to create a home worthy of its central location. The new kitchen, living and dining space was expanded to increase its function and flow, while the bathrooms were remodelled with new cabinetry, frameless shower screens, basins and tapware.

the scenic house

'The Ranch' as it's affectionaly known, was the industrial modern home of Alison and Dave Lewis, along with their daughter Ava and Hungarian Viszla Bullet, for seven years. A labour of love, Alison and Dave renovated the entire home themselves with a very clear objective: create an abundance of natural light and maximise the surrounding green vista Eltham North is renowned for. The house went on the market in 2017 and its sale broke the exisiting dollar per metre square record for the area.

the belle vue house

Set atop a hill overlooking the valley, one of the oldest houses in Eltham, Belle Vue exudes charm, character and sophistication. Alison was engaged to furnish and style the spaces to enrich the buyers experience. Using a mix of contemporary and traditional pieces, as well as some of the owners existing furniture, Alison bridged the gap between the old and new, allowing total cohesion throughout.
